Here's the order things happen in, and what you're committing to at each stage. Short answer: nothing until step three.

Your design lands
Panels drawn on your roof, battery size and one price. No deposit, nothing to sign.
Survey
We check the roof, loft, consumer unit and meter. Any change to the price, you see it first.
Done by teatime
Scaffold the day before. Our roofers and electricians fit it in a day. Paperwork follows.
1. Two minutes on the form (today)
Postcode, rough monthly bill, house type, and whether there's an EV or heat pump in the picture. A photo of a bill is handy but not essential. You can phone instead if you'd rather.
2. Your design lands (within 48 hours)
We measure your roof from aerial imagery, model the shade, and lay the panels out. You get a PDF: the panel positions on your own roof, array size, the battery we'd fit, a generation estimate for your postcode and one installed price. No deposit, nothing to sign, no follow-up calls unless you want them.
3. Survey and go-ahead (when you're ready)
If you like the design we book a survey. We check the roof and covering, loft access, the consumer unit and earthing, the meter, and where the kit will live. If anything changes the design or price you get the revised figure in writing first. Then, and only then, a deposit and an install date.
4. Install day
Scaffold the day before. On the day, our roofers do the rails and panels while our electricians fit the inverter, battery and wiring. Most homes are generating by teatime. We commission it, set up the app with you and tidy up. All installations are commissioned and certified through our MCS-registered partner, so you qualify for Smart Export Guarantee payments. We do the SP Energy Networks paperwork and help you pick an export tariff.
What you won't get from us
No kitchen-table presentation. No price that expires at midnight. No deposit before you've seen your design. No 'from' prices.
